Polished porcelain tiles have a bright shine and an elegant finish. The substrate is cementitious backerboard and as far as i can tell the tile was installed with thinset.

I have been called to inspect a shower with ceramic tile walls. They are stain resistant water resistant and can withstand heavy foot traffic. Use them in place of limestone or other soft honed stone tiles for style. Tiles provide a durable covering for floors walls and backsplashes.
